Our Duck Stayed on Vacation—Help Us Track Her Adventures!

Once upon a time, Lucky the Duck came to Hilton Head Island on vacation with her family. She splashed in the waves, watched the sunsets, and floated in the pool at Sea Cloisters—and somewhere between beach days and bike rides, she completely fell in love with the island. 

When it was time to leave, Lucky just couldn’t go. She made a bold (and very quacky) decision to stay behind and make Hilton Head her forever home. Now, she spends her days exploring new beaches, making new friends, and soaking up the sunshine. 

But here’s the thing: Lucky misses her family. A lot. So she’s asking for your help. If you spot her during your vacation, take a picture and share it! You'll know it's her because of her special necklace. That way, her family can see all the fun she’s having—and maybe even come visit her again soon. 

You’ll also find some of Lucky's cousins—she has a big family—adorable little ducks with big travel dreams—hiding in our vacation rentals all over the island. If you find one, snap a pic and let us know where they’ve landed. They’re hoping to see the world, one vacation at a time!
