The house was great and had every single possible kitchen item anyone could want. Impeccably clean and as pictured online. Rental company was super responsive to all little questions we had during our stay. I don't know if it was listed that the tee box for the 16th hole of a golf course was in the backyard. Pool cleaners also came twice during our stay which was nice.

This was our 5th year to book with Hilton Head Properties. We stay at the same house each year. The home is well maintained and has everything you might need. HHP has been wonderful to work with. They are very professional, responsive and very friendly . We are already looking forward to next year

Well appointed home, with all of the kitchen essentials for cooking in or grilling out. The beds were very comfortable. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which made it very nice. The pool was very nice, but you do have to keep up with getting the leaves out with a net. Someone did come in the middle of the week to clean it. The real estate company was very prompt, if you needed anything. Well worth ordering the bikes to ride to the beach, or around the neighborhood. If you have your apps. for streaming on your phone, you can easily sign in, to watch Netflix or Hulu as well as the others. I don't think that you will be disappointed in renting this home.

Spa was full of leaves most of the time, disappointed we did not get to use it more after paying a premium! Was not aware of the VRBO additional charge until too late to cancel/change to a different property. Felt that it was not well advertised that there was a charge for using VRBO. All in all, the house was beautiful and just the right size for our group. It was well appointed for an elevated homey feel. Other than the two extra charges it was a good value. I will look closer at the listings in the future.

If I could give the property 10 stars, I would. We had the most wonderful first vacation with our newest baby boy including grandpa and aunts/ uncle. The home was impeccably clean, spacious and had wonderful sleeping arrangements with each bedroom having their own private bathroom. While we did not use the pool, the outdoor space was well maintained and we loved having grill access for dinners at home. Distance to the beach was the perfect walking distance for a wagon ride with the kids. The host left great recommendations for outings and dining in the area and THE GAME ROOM was a hit for all ages. We look forward to returning again soon and thank you for the wonderful memories!

The house was beautiful, large, bright and airy with plenty of seating space and very comfortable furniture. Everyone loved having each bedroom with its own bathroom. The game room was a big hit, because even though it is not air conditioned, the other basement room still kept it cool. The pool had many leaves due to a previous storm, but when I called the property manager, it was cleaned that very afternoon. In addition, I told him the ice maker was not working, so that afternoon, a large bag of ice was delivered. The management was so responsive and helpful. There is an elaborate notebook of directions for all appliances, as well as suggestions for things to do and places to go. Wonderful experience in every way. Absolutely top notch!

We came back for a half month stay. Again this house was wonderful. 3 Starboard Tack was spotless. It was very enjoyable to stay here. We can’t recommend this house and location enough. New for us this trip was seeing a dolphin in Broad Creek while kayaking and taking pickle ball clinics. Not new was watching the sunrise every morning from the beach. Hopefully we can return next year.

This home truly deserves five stars. It is immaculate, exceptionally comfortable and has the best amenities we have seen in a rental property. The kitchen has anything you need from a simple breakfast to an elaborate dinner. The beds and bedding are top notch, and the main bathroom is luxurious. It feels more lavish than a five-star hotel. We used the washer and dryer, which had all the bells and whistles needed. We used the grill to cook out and made many home-made meals in the gourmet kitchen. Cooking was easy and fun with spacious counter-space and a variety of pots and pans to meet every need. We did not use the pool or spa, but it was calming to hear the waterfall each day. From witnessing wildlife to watching golfers tee off the 16 hole, this place is wonderful. It was relaxing and fun to sit on the deck, wave to the golfers or watch the stars at night. It was such a short bike ride to catch the sunrise on the beach, we ended up going every morning. The beach near the home was less busy than those parts near the resorts. Riding bikes on the beach was so much fun. Darcey and staff at Hilton Head Properties sent emails and texts which were what we needed to understand this property, and all the fun stuff Hilton Head Island has to offer. We especially enjoyed her recommendation for Charlie's restaurant. We hope to stay in this great home again and would definitely recommend it.

The online listing does not do this property justice. It is in a great location of Palmetto Dunes - the kids loved riding their bikes to the General Store and Shelter Cove. This is the best equipped rental we have ever stayed in…anywhere. Anything you could possibly need in the kitchen (and outdoor grill) made Thanksgiving a breeze. Spacious enough to fit extended family. We loved it & will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at 3 Starboard Tack! The house had everything we needed. We have never stayed in a rental property with such a well-stocked kitchen. The ping pong table provided hours of fun. I highly recommend renting bikes with a cart to get the beach. It’s a very quick bike ride and you can bring your bikes on to the beach with you. Plantation Dunes is a very nice community and if we go back to Hilton Head, we would rent this property again.

Extremely well furnished and most comfortable house. The kitchen, in particular, was better equipped than any other VRBO property we've ever rented. The location was quite convenient and very quiet. No fault of the owner or VRBO, but we don't enjoy being paired with strangers when playing golf, which is standard practice at the better Hilton Head courses, so doubt we'll return.

This was our first time staying in Palmetto Dunes and the first time to HH for many. The house was very comfortable and spread our nicely so we didn’t feel crowded at all. The loft upstairs was great for the kids as was the pool room downstairs. We also loved the ping pong table. Kitchen was well equipped with ample seating for all guests. Walk to the beach was about 10 minutes. Highly recommend getting a beach cart. We also rode bikes to the beach which was easy the beach was large and very private. Kids even brought kids to where we were sitting and there was plenty of room. The closest people in the beach were 25 feet away so not crowded at all like some of the public beach areas. Also the waves were very calm (I didn’t realize this about HH) and beaches were huge in the afternoon when we go (we get there around 12). One negative was that you had to pay extra for the hot tub. We didn’t end up turning it on. Overall - we all loved the house and had a great time!

Pictures are very accurate. Very private with refreshing pool. Quiet area. The walk to the beach was about 10 minutes and a bit challenging in heat carting all the beach gear - but found we could drop off some of our party with the gear closer to beach which made the walk much more bearable. And it was certainly worth it as the beach was beautiful with lots of space to spread out from the few other beach goers that were there. Hilton Head Properties very responsive.

This house was perfect for my 60th BD celebration! Great space! The only issue we had was, with heating the hot tub, in the beginning, which I had to pay for. There are instructions, however if you push a button a couple of times and don’t realize it, then you don’t know what mode you are in. The house had absolutely everything you could ever need! Overall experience was amazing! Hilton Head has always been one of our favorite spots!

Our stay was March 5-March 12, 2017 and we truly hit the jackpot with the weather. The home is beautiful, just perfect for families because the home is spacious enough for privacy, but plenty of gathering areas for togetherness. Our family rented this beautiful home for the week of Thanksgiving. From the moment we first inquired about the property to the last day of our stay- we were more than impressed! It is very luxurious. This beautiful, comfortable home had everything we needed and more for our 3 generation gathering- even a well-used game table in the great room. We loved the light and brightness from all the windows and that you could actually open them to catch a breeze. Since we love to cook we were pleasantly surprised with the well-stocked kitchen with all the quality utensils you could wish for! We enjoyed the private backyard, pool and hot tub so much that we couldn't get the kids to leave except for a short bike ride they enjoyed everyday down to the general store. This is the second year we are staying at 3 Starboard Tack. We had a top customer event and this home made us feel very comfortable with first class furnishing. The home was very clean and the amenities were spectacular. Darcey at Hilton Head Properties R & R went above and beyond taking care of my Company and Guests, she offered great ideas for out Event. One being to have a personal Chef cook in the private home and the Chef she suggested was first class and the meal was outstanding. It was so good we are back for the second year including the same Chef she recommended to us. We will be back again year after year because Darcey offers first class homes as well as a professional touch. I would recommend this home and highly recommend using Darcey and her staff at Hilton Head Properties R & R Gillian Sartomer

The house was more than perfect. It had anything and everything one would need; excellently stocked. I want to know what kind of mattress I slept on. It was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I hated coming home to my own bed. Everything was so luxurious. All five of us had a wonderful time in this house. We will definitely stay again.

We stayed at the White House over Christmas with 6 adults and 3 children. Everyone had a great and comfortable experience. It was the most well stocked house we have ever rented and we have been up and down the Atlantic and Gulf coasts. The furnishings and bedding were superior. The kitchen had everything we could hope for. The only thing we looked for and couldn't find was a notepad to write things down on. It is abit of a walk to the beach, about 15 minutes, but well located on the Island for shopping and dining. The realtor went out of her way to welcome us and even brought us a poinsettia.

Thank you for your feedback. What a great way to spend the holiday making memories! Hilton Head Properties R and R places our logo notepads and pens by every phone for our guest convenience. This property is just .55 mile to the nearest beach access, less than 10 min walk or a quick bike ride. There is public parking at the Dunes House for those who do not wish to walk. We stayed in this lovely well maintained home for the winter months of Jan & Feb 1/2 of March. Everything we needed was already there! Each bedroom has it's own bath, and is privately arranged so multiple families could easily stay there. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, the laundry area has an eco friendly new washer/ dryer. Even a computer and printer are ready for your use if you need them. The property was very clean and the owner Pat and manager Terry, very attentive and easy to work with. The location is beautiful, with a private backyard with pool on the golf course. Palmetto Dunes has a central location on the Island, so access to all of Hilton Head is easy. Could not have been better! Would highly recommend this home.
