Amazing Property- Great for large groups
We had such a great stay! Having three separate homes on the same property was really unique and worked perfectly for our group. Everyone could have their own space when they wanted it, while still being able to spend plenty of time together. The property itself was very large and secluded, with an expansive waterfront and its own private dock—something that is rare on Daufuskie Island. One of the highlights was sitting on the front porches in the morning overlooking the water and enjoying the amazing breeze, even in mid-July. We were also so impressed by how nice the homes were. They were beautifully decorated, the beds were comfortable, and the furniture and amenities all felt thoughtfully chosen. It really felt like staying in a home rather than a typical vacation rental. There was plenty to enjoy at the property, but part of the fun of Daufuskie is getting out and exploring. We rented golf carts and spent time discovering the island’s beaches, restaurants, historical sites and little out-of-the-way places along the way. The hosts were wonderful and very easy to work with. We especially appreciated that they requested our feedback and how much they genuinely cared about making our stay a great one. Daufuskie feels like such a getaway, yet it’s so easy to get to from Hilton Head. The property and the whole island experience made this such a memorable trip for our group. We will definitely go back!

Amazing Stay for Our Team Retreat
We rented all three homes for a staff retreat, and they were absolutely perfect for our group. The houses were beautiful, clean, comfortable, and very well appointed. Each home had its own charm and gave everyone plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together. The location on Daufuskie Island made the trip feel truly special — peaceful, unique, and such a great getaway from the everyday hustle. Everything from booking to arrival was smooth and easy, and the homes had everything we needed for a memorable stay. Our staff had an amazing time, and this trip created memories we’ll all talk about for years to come. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend these homes to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway on Daufuskie!

How do we get around once we arrive?

Golf carts are delivered to each home (4- or 6-passenger carts).

Cost: $75–$100 per day.

For bike rentals, reach out to Sports Addiction at (843) 915-8281.

Is dockage available at Moon River?

Answer:

Yes, dockage is available at the property for guests staying at Moon River. The fee is $50 for up to 7 days. Please be sure to properly moor your boat as the tides are very fast in this area.

Is beach access available?

Yes. A free beach is accessible to Beach Road. Lightweight Adirondack chairs are available for guest use.
