The beach may be the main attraction on Hilton Head, but eventually someone is going to want to do something besides build another sandcastle. Pirate's Island Adventure Golf - Pirate's Island turns mini golf into an adventure with waterfalls, caves, bridges, and plenty of pirate scenery. It's fun for just about every age—just be prepared for someone in the family to take the scorecard a little too seriously.
Legendary Golf - A longtime Hilton Head favorite, Legendary Golf offers multiple courses with traditional putting challenges and plenty of Lowcountry atmosphere. It's an easy addition to a beach day or a little friendly competition after dinner.
Adventure Cove - Adventure Cove gives you two activities in one with mini golf outside and an arcade indoors. It's especially handy for families with different-aged kids—or when everyone needs a break from the beach.

Family Attractions on Hilton Head Island

The Sandbox Children's Museum - The Sandbox is a hands-on children's museum designed for younger kids to play, explore, and use their imaginations. It's also one to keep in your back pocket for a rainy Hilton Head afternoon.
Coastal Discovery Museum - Located at historic Honey Horn, the Coastal Discovery Museum introduces families to Hilton Head's wildlife, history, natural environment, and Lowcountry culture. Explore the grounds beneath the live oaks and learn a little more about the island you're calling home for the week.
Harbour Town Lighthouse - The red-and-white striped Harbour Town Lighthouse is one of Hilton Head's most recognizable landmarks. Climb to the top for views over Harbour Town Yacht Basin and the surrounding waterways, then leave some time to explore Harbour Town afterward.
Pirate Cruise - For younger kids ready for a real pirate adventure, Hilton Head's pirate cruise combines a boat ride with characters, treasure hunting, and plenty of participation along the way. Don't be surprised if they stay in character for the rest of the day.

Find Your Family's Kind of Fun
